We jumped on a plane and headed south for 10 days to Brazil and Argentina to visit Iguassu Falls, a World Heritage Site and also one of Argentina/Brazil’s most popular and impressive destinations. The Iguassu National Park, which encompasses the falls, showed us 212 square miles of lush, tropical forests with stunning varieties of ferns, orchids, begonias, butterflies, exotic birds, and fascinating animal species.
This was a great trip to Melbourne, Cairns and Sydney. The trip included round-trip airfare, ground transportation, 10 nights lodging accommodations: Sydney-4 nights; Great Barrier Reef/Cairns-3 nights; Melbourne-3 nights, some food and a lot of fun.
We stepped back in time to Cuba, a country full of different influences, cultures, and ambiances. Fifty years after the Cuban Revolution, access to this island nation is still forbidden to most American citizens. However, we traveled to Cuba legally through a special license approved by OFAC.
